Kevin Vu is a filmmaker from Southern California and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. After completing an English Literature degree, he experimented with video art before attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program.
His work has screened at international film festivals and has been featured in Filmmaker Magazine, Vimeo Staff Picks, NoBudge, New York Times, and Hammer to Nail.
He is a recipient of the inaugural Black Family Foundation Film Grant.
He is currently an Assistant Curator for VAEFF Video Art & Experimental Film Festival, and also developing his first feature film.
